I survived a surgery!

DISCLAIMER : Blood and Gore in this Post!

About an hour ago i had a minor surgery in my mouth. Why? , i had something weird growing on me and it tried to take over my brain or something... The point is it had to be removed. And to tell you the truth , IT HURTS LIKE HELL. .

But don't worry about me my loyal fans , I (modesty) can take the pain. To tell you the truth its not the first surgery i had to remove "The Thing". But thanks to my Wolverine-like healing abilities it grew back. But that's old news. If there's one thing that got me worried though is that evil mothe--.... ermm , i mean Doctor that made the surgery. I'm starting to think he enjoys cutting me , seriously. You should have seen his face when he said to me "It might grow back , Let's hope not! (fake smile here)" . *crosses fingers* . I'm probably going to have nightmares with him. Anyways i promised gore and blood and here they are!.

Hello and Welcome to my Blog , once again i will entertain you with my the first thing that comes to my head. So today's subject : Medicine students and their habits.

As a Med student myself i have noticed some really particular habits among my partners.

1- The Car. It's common to see the car becoming more than a way of going from point B to A. It becomes their personal library! . Filled with books (most common is the one that says "Netter"). Also , check if you can find AT LEAST one Lab Coat (BATA , for my non-english friends)

2-Superiority Complex. Try to tell any med student that his career path of choice is easier than yours. IT'S IMPOSSIBLE. Med Student always think that they are the only ones that study hard , do homework , and occasionally sacrifice a Friday to study. I myself suffer from this , no way is your stupid career harder than mine "MOFO" (Google is your friend)

3-How much they have changed. Remember that dumb friend of yours from highschool? , who would have thought that barely 2 years later he would be spending his "free time" in a library!. Not me , fo' sure. Med is though , and if you don't try hard , you get eaten!.

4- Irrational Hatred for "BookWorms" (Come libros) . The average MedStudent is a extremely jealous BEAST. Ask a med student if they hate someone in their class , then ask them if by any "chance" that person consistently gets higher grades than them. 80% of the time the answer will be YES. Is it so hard to accept that someone tries harder than them ? ; yep , nearly impossible. They go as far as calling them "rejects" , "lifeless" , "wise ass" and many other terms.

5- They never study "enough". It doesn't matter if they spent the last 48 hours sitting in a dark corner with a book on their right hand and a RedBull in their left. There's ALWAYS something they didn't study. I'm starting that even our teachers don't know every POS that they teach us. Also , most of the times they don't know how well they did , they leave it at "god's will".

So , with this few nasty habits i leave you... I have a few others in mind , so this won't be the end of it. Maybe next week if i feel like it. Also , in case anyone is wondering , this was inspired by email i got , although i didn't copy paste it or anything. 100% Gman Quality FTW!.

Everything has a beginning , but an end?

Ignoring the metaphysics in the post name , Hi..... although it has been less than 5 hours since the inauguration i told you it would come soon. So what is this post about ? , It's about the internet.

Every once in a while i ask myself why i use methods of communications such as BLOGS , Instant Messengers , Forums or any other way of communication that don't involve direct contact with another person. Phones are impersonal but comparing it to the internet is an exaggeration . On the internet you can do whatever you want , you can be whoever you want to be and you have no responsibility for your actions , most of the time.

Insulted someone on the MSN? , tell him you had the wrong window open ; Don't want to talk with someone? just block him ; Want to confess your darkest and deepest secrets without being scared ? IM it. So with all the liars and problems the internet has , why do we find it to be such a awesome way of communicating? . I don't get get it.

So what's the key to the internet as a form of communication? , Blind trust. As a active forum user and ex-online gamer (well i do play from time to time but not as much as i did in school) , i admit that over the years i have met countless persons , some of them great , some of them annoying , some of them potential perverts. Still i can't simply ignore everyone that i meet just because of some mindless paranoia. That's why blind trust is a must if you like this way of communicating. With all the inconveniences the internet brings to our daily life i can't imagine what our lives would be like without it... maybe i would be smarter but that's another point.

So with my fingers tired , i say goodbye and wish you all luck.

Hello and welcome to Gman Informs!!! , yay!. So , some of you might be wondering "what is this about gman?" , well its about me informing you of my life and things i find interesting!. Sounds exciting right? , well i hope you all do , seriously. So moving on , those of you that know me personally know that English is not my native language , i chose to use English because many of my friends aren't very fond to my native language, and putting it simply , English is just plain cooler.

Anyways so why would you want to read this blog ? , you ask yourself. I'll tell you why , I'm awesome (self-hi5 for modesty!) . No , seriously , i have no idea why , maybe you'll find you like my amateurish writing skills or my kindergarten level sarcasm , or my mindless rambling about stuff no one gives a shit about , who knows , the point is i hope you all like it and enjoy it. Don't hesitate to comment on any of my posts!. Also in case any of you is wondering ; NO , Gman does not stand for Gay-Man , so i'm sorry for my homosexual public (hi5 all of you for not minding what other people think!) i'm straight.
